Top 5 Stickiest Venue Floors
If you go out regularly in Wellington you’ll be well aware of how sticky the floors can get while partying. Sticky floors seem to play a big role in Wellington nightlife and to be honest, most venues could fit on this list but just for you we have carefully curated a list of the stickiest our fine city has to offer.
5. CLUB 121. At number 5 we have club 121. It’s definitely not the stickiest but it can get pretty grimey if you stay late into the AM. House music, vodka & redbull first years students. Now that's a recipe for a sticky situation.
4. The Grand. Yes, if we’re making a list of the worst of anything in the Wellington music scene The Grand will always have a place. The floor isn’t just sticky at the grand but it's rickety & feels like you’re going to fall through.
3. Lacuna. Although Lacuna has been fluctuating between being opened & closed for the last few months, it’s floor remains to be of the stickiest in the game. No plumbing, no actual bar or liquor license. Lacuna is the perfect place to get stuck in & have a good time.
2. Valhalla. Beautifully grimey, Valhalla takes second place on this list. It’s consistently sticky. Not just on the floor but everywhere and we love it!
1. LOVE NOT LOST. A fairly new venue in the game, Love Not Lost takes the cake. Good luck trying to dance in this venue, the floor will steal your shoes & keep you there till you’re kicked out.
