Livestream Review (Plus upcoming livestreams to look out for!)
Another week in quarantine, and it seems to be going just as slow as the first ones. I do not know about you guys, but finding ways to keep busy and preoccupy myself have been a bit slim. Making sure to take care of myself and my mental health has also been pretty high up on my list right now, as I hope it is on everyone else’s. Some things I have noticed that have helped me is trying to watch some live stream gigs and some meditations.
For those of you that remember that huge Fyre Festival scandal a few years back and Andy King (who was ready to do some pretty drastic things to get the water!) hosted a live stream gig called Room Service. Tons of DJs, awesome graphics, and outdoor sets, indoor sets, sets covered with plants and fairy lights. It was a super fun and relaxing way to kick back. You can check out the highlights on the Room Service Festival website. Below is a list of all the acts that performed and maybe you can find some new artists on here to have a listen to! And just something to remember if Andy Kings career can recover from the Fyre Festival that your can recover from this pandemic!
If you use meditation or sleep apps, or if you want to give one a try Calm may be the perfect one. Right now they are doing ten minute meditation live streams daily all on different topics such as holding space, caregiving, creativity, progression and many more. It can be just what you need to relax your mind and body. The soothing sounds of nature all add to the relaxation, and if meditating is not for you they have tons of great music made specifically for Calm to help promote sleep by artists such as Sam Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, Moby, Nick Murphy, 5 Seconds of Summer and more.
So let’s look ahead! Some cool live streams events and gigs going on in the next few weeks include…
