Welcome to SoSo 2021

Kia Ora everyone. I’m Jack Trotter and alongside Malikah Davy will be working as one of your chairpeople at Something Something. I’m proud to be opening the website content for this year and hope everyone is enjoying being back at uni & that the vibes are on. The purpose of this lil monthly editorial from me is to keep you all up to date on the wicked & wonderful things we have planned. 

The first big event for Something Something this year is our time slot at the CubaDupa festival (27th-28th March) this year – We are excited to announce a lineup consisting of Poneke talents Isobelle Walker, Eli Superflyy, Sweetspot and Kingfish! These artists represent the creativity and diversity of the talent we have available to us at CoCA this year. 

Other highlights this month include: Our weekly Lowkey Hangs, an event every Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm. These are designed to encourage students to get more involved with Something Something and to put the new industry space in T27a to good use. There will also be an open mic night on the 24th March; Our first Something Something gig of the year on April 15th; and many other exciting events and opportunities to keep an ear to the ground for.
