Jeline Gig Review

Tonight! Jeline is performing @ Vallahla and just in case you have any thoughts about attending, here is a review of one of her previous gigs at Meow!

An upcoming act from Wellington, Jeline is a fun and energetic artist whose indie pop sound represents her and all her different styles. I got to see her for the first time and was blown away by the amount of energy she had from the first song to the last. Performing with WK Bookclub, Jeline shone on stage with her warm and raspy vocals and a stunning outfit. She made it hard to stand in one spot when she was moving around and engaging the crowd with her own little dance moves.

My favourite song of the night, outside of her wonderful cover of Doja Cat's ‘Kiss Me More’, her song, ‘Everyone wants Hermia’ really took the cake. A song inspired by The Butlers, the song showcases Jeline’s amazing vocals and also her talent as a songwriter by pulling you into a story that reminds me of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
